Today I will be covering unlockable scientists. Now remember, the scientist is the medic of the zombies, so most of his abilities have to do with healing. The scientist also has the least amount of health of the zombies, so be careful when you are using him! The scientist has a shotgun type weapon. It does a lot of damage at a short range, and also has a slow rate of fire. The scientist is best at close range because that is where your weapon does the most damage at. It will be easiest to take down chompers too, which will be very helpful. It might sound weird, but you will want to stick as close to the enemy as possible.
For scientists there is the Marine Biologist, the Chemist, the Physicist, Dr. Toxic, the Astronaut, the Archaeologist, Dr. Chester and finally, the Paleontologist. Each and every one of these unique variants has a special ability that gives them a cool advantage in the game. Whether it's more damage, and elemental effect, etc. Starting off is my personal favorite, the Marine Biologist. The Marine Biologist doesn't technically have a small range, but at the same time he does. You will always want to be close to the enemy using him. He does a max of 70-80 damage when you are very close to the enemy. You can shoot people at a long range, but it doesn't do nearly as much damage as you do close ranged. Another cool and funny thing about the Marine Biologist is that his weapon is a dolphin. It "shoots," by spitting chum at the enemies. Also, you reload it by feeding it a fish! Moving on, next is the Chemist. The Chemist is the Scientist that you get at level 10 after you start getting parts for him from sticker packs starting at level 6. The Chemist is very similar to the Marine Biologist. Instead however, he doesn't do as much damage, but he covers a wider range when shooting. He also cannot shoot as far as the other scientists do, instead you can only shoot up-close. Next is the Physicist. The Physicist has the electric elemental effect which allows the shot to link enemies that are close together, doing damage to both of them at the same time. The Physicist is best at long range because he does the same damage at no matter how far you are away. The Physicist's shots also go extremely fast at the enemies which makes it faster to take down enemies. Next up is Dr. Toxic. Dr. Toxic is similar to the normal Scientist. His weapon does about the same amount of damage, but up close he does hurt! He also, as you probably guessed, has the toxic elemental effect which allows the user's shots to deal a small amount of constant damage of a short amount of time. The time the effect lasts depends how long the user is shooting the enemy for. Dr. Toxic is one who might be good at a medium range. That is because if you are too far away you won't do enough damage, and if you are too close, you will be vanquished because Dr. Toxic doesn't have a fast enough rate-of-fire. Following up is the Astronaut. The Astronaut is a fully-automatic scientist variant that also does about the same amount of damage no matter what range you are at. The Astronaut is another one who is best used at a far away range. That is because he has a fast enough rate-of-fire where you don't have to have the risk of getting to close to the enemy. Another benefit of being far away is that when you're shooting at an enemy, they will have to figure out where you are.
Next up on the list is the Archaeologist. The Archaeologist doesn't have any elemental effects to assist him in battle, but he does have a faster rate-of-fire than the other scientists though. He also deals a lot of damage at a close range. That makes it good because you can go from one opponent to the next in a short amount of time. Also, similar to the Marine Biologist, the Archaeologist can do a good amount of damage at a long range. Next is a more unique character. Dr. Chester comes from the same place has the Chester Chomper. Dr. Chester has an extremely low range, but he is also fully-automatic. You will have to be careful when using Dr. Chester because it is pretty hard to hit enemies with him. When you do start damaging enemies though, you will most likely vanquish them with ease. Lastly is the Paleontologist. The Paleontologist is part of the Legends of the Lawn free DLC. He has the fire elemental effect which allows him to set enemies on fire for a short amount of time, doing a medium amount of damage. The Paleontologist also has an unlimited range, so that means you can hit people from a very far distance, which makes it easier to vanquish your enemies. That is all for now, next time will be the unlockable All-Stars. UNTIL THEN!
